Hey There! I’m Kelly Whitelock and I absolutely L-O-V-E genealogy! I’ve been doing genealogy research for over 20 years and foresee myself never stopping!
Volunteering in our church’s (The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints) Family History Center for about 6 years taught me a ton about researching genealogy. Luckily, this has helped me to teach others and share the tips & tricks that I’ve picked up along the way.
This website is dedicated to my students and anyone else that may benefit from it. I’m always open for suggestions of content that might be helpful, so please let me know if you would like me to add something!
Prepare yourself, genealogy is very addictive! Getting to know about the lives of your ancestors, through records, will lead you to new information that will lead you to more questions. Then, that will lead you to more answers that will lead you to new questions. See the vicious cycle that we get into?!?!
I really want to help you be successful with your research and find the joy in researching your ancestors history while getting to know their stories. It is absolutely possible to feel a kinship with those ancestors that have gone before us. There is no greater satisfaction either, at least in my opinion!
Please check in regularly for new information. Tell others about our website too!
